Before you start
This atlas is for studying. It is not a clinical tool: do not use it for diagnosis or to decide treatment. Parts of the content are produced with AI assistance and checked with a documented process, but it may contain errors.
Privacy
No accounts, cookies or analytics: your study data stays in your browser.
What we do not do
- No accounts and no sign-up.
- No cookies.
- No analytics, no advertising.
- No requests to third-party services: fonts, scripts and images are served from this site.
What stays in your browser
A few preferences are saved only on your device, in the browser’s local storage: chosen language, light or dark theme, reading mode, collapsed sidebar, whether you have read the first notice, and the last page you opened in each section (for the current session only). When the study tools arrive, reviews, bookmarks and notes will also stay only here. None of this data is sent to us or to anyone else.
You can delete everything at any time in your browser settings (“clear site data”). Note that deletion is final, because there is no copy on any server.
Safari and iPhone: data can disappear
Safari may delete the data a site has saved if you do not use that site for seven days. If you study on an iPhone or iPad, add the atlas to your Home Screen: Safari then counts the days you use the added app, not the browser. Once it is available, also use the data export to keep a copy.
What the host records
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. According to GitHub’s documentation, visitor IP addresses are logged and stored for security purposes. We have no access to those logs. Details: GitHub Pages documentation and the GitHub privacy statement.
Reports
Reports go through GitHub issues, which need a GitHub account and are public: do not include personal or health data.
